On Diwali night, a lonely and self-destructive Samar's attempt to end his life is interrupted by a friend who leads him through a night filled with microaggressions, paid sex, and reckless behaviour.
A brief human connection makes him want to live again, until the consequences of the night catch up with him.

Chakra serves as a proof-of-concept for our upcoming feature film, A Mascot.
While its plot stands independently, it follows the same lead characters, Samar & Aaron, and explores Chandigarh’s nocturnal urban landscape and emerging nightlife culture, which only took shape in 2018 and forms the backdrop of the feature.
Thematically and tonally, Chakra lays the groundwork for the world, characters, and cinematic approach that will be further developed in A Mascot.
