We soon find out that Jason has had a past being a painting thief but left the game due to his love for his wife, Kate when she found out.

The couple is trying to conceive a child but when Jason finds out that Kate has been taking pills to avoid it – because she still feels she can’t trust Jason – he relapses back into his old ways.
